re: ann--10000 adsl customers - extralite Ahh but that was an announcement to the ASX and so wasnn't an "official announcement" according to colin marland, SWT director. The same man who said that PTL announing 12 000 customers, and then 16 000 a month later, then 10 000 6 months later while not losing customers was okay as they weren't official announcements.

I am a SWT shareholder so obviously im biased toward SWT, but any figures they give are inherently rubbery. They just don't seem to have any respect for proper disclosure. I wouldn't trust any customer number figures from SWT until Marland has gone.

And DFT have over 90 000 dial up customers, which SWT have virtually none. DFT seems to be able to make enough profit out of them to fund their various takeovers. A reasonable percentage no doubt would convert to broadband. Anyway - dont think we can do much except take a position and wait, the market doesnt seem in the mood to make stocks go up right now.
