I just bought more, because medium term there will be one of two likely outcomes:
(a) YAL is successful in bidding for former Anglo-American assets in Queensland and runs them fairly competently and sells met coal at fairly pleasing prices. I am not banking on the Liberal National Party winning the October 2024 Queensland election and reducing coal royalty rates as the Labor government up there will be passing on significant debt from the usual Labor spend-a-thon
(b) YAL fails in its bid(s) and in six months' time declares a significant dividend.
