Folks, played around with the capital structure of MIN this morning for the purpose of understanding the ownership game. Overall, the shorters are now in uncharted territory quite unbelievable really.
Perspectives:
Tim Roberts is now the 7th largest shareholder
Top 20 control ~89.4% of the share on issue
There is an absence of Australian funds in top 20
Around 11,236 shareholders control the balance ~10.6%. Average holding is just 20,021,689/11,236 = 1,782 shares
Shorts now sitting at just above 5%. 9,4M shares have been shorted. This is having a significant impact on liquidity.
Short positions at an all time high.
