Alan was a senior engineer (15yrs ago) and very articulate. He also was prepared to take the time to show others how things are done and, more importantly, explain why.
Always was aspirational and good at networking which is a skill in itself.
We worked together at a mine not far from Wiluna, a project that at the time we thought had a reasonable ore body and a great management team. Little did we know just how good it was going to be.
Was a small mine owned by Normandy Mining at the time.
