I will actually do the calculation for NewToItAll to help them understand.

LOM have found 14 special diamonds which total 386.2 carats. To make this become an average of 1.6 carats (per announcement) the denominator = number of diamonds found, needs to be approximately 241 diamonds, less the 14 specials, means that besides the 14 specials they have found another 227 diamonds. Wow!!! That will definitely increase the cpht result (and based on mining time ... I would say must be commercial!!).

I'm sure the 227 other diamonds are not only visible with a microscope.

Hope this helps understand what LOM may have here. It's only a matter of time and some patience.

I just realised that my previous calculation is incorrect ... as the "other diamonds" would also increase the "numerator" ... total carats found. I'm going to have to go back to my "algebra" days.
