Another good acquisition at reasonable price.
Interesting this is a partnership (51/49) rather than full takeover like previous acquisitions. Perhaps this is in response to the expectation they will be expanding from Darwin to Alice and Katherine. So not only are they buying a mature business, they are getting future growth in there too.
The valuation is remarkably similar to Kordos. $2.5m of revenue, 3 specialists lawyers on the books, though slightly cheaper at ~$900k vs $1m.
Reckon margins / leads will improve as a result (check out Whitnalls facebook, hasn't been updated since 2018).
While Whitnalls has personal injury, I suspect this may just be opportunistic in the small market. None of the three specialists have personal injury background, all are family court.
