I am not sure we all listened to (not watched) the same AGM. Maybe the overseas broadcast is modified. I heard a well-rehearsed song and dance act by the SPL CEO and Chair. They did not provide meaningful answers to any questions of import. They talked about the questions, they talked to the questions, they danced around the questions, they deliberately did not address the point of the questions. Maybe they tossed out a few guesses posing as answers.

For example, see the question and answer cited by Esmer. Years of board experience in pharma is not in any way equivalent to the marketing skills necessary in today's world. The question very politely inquired about the lack of in-house hands-on commercial skills (and by implication, the inability to generate revenue). Did the Chair not even understand the question or simply dodge it?

We were all looking for some basis for optimism from the AGM. I came away thinking that I would not buy a used car from those two.
