Part of the Scheme process is for an independent expert to determine if the deal is a good deal for shareholders. You’re kidding yourself if you think he’s going to find a 30% premium on the closing price prior to the announcement a bad deal, particularly when it’s cash and there’s no concern on the value of any scrip forming part of the consideration.
What makes me laugh is all these guys saying it’s too cheap but no one buying stock above 32 cents.
SRG is a scaffolding business, they aren’t a suitor. The way their share price is going, they would be praying Altrad buys them rather than the other way round.
