the more i look into this the better it seems.

Our immediate neighbour is not in fact Tanco but another explorer called New Age Metals (pointed out by another poster in another thread, NAM.tsx on the Canadian exchange). They've staked a lot of land in the area and have already found lithium rich pegs, up to 4.1% spodumene, at the zone they're calling Lithium One:


The cyan project is an 'individual prospector' who will probably eventually sell to one of Tanco, NAM, or KOB...

I've circled the area where this is from relative to KOB's provided map in pale green:


However for whatever reason, lithium is not NAM's focus but rather PGEs elsewhere. They've signed a farm-in deal with none other than Mineral Resources (MIN) for 70% of all of their lithium projects.

So the neighbours here are a world class project and a lithium major swooping in to grab as much land as possible. Seems a vote of confidence in the prospectivity of the area.

As i mentioned earlier, Tanco's mine is crazy profitable today, have been run as first a tantulum mine, then a high grade cesium mine, supplying most of the world's needs, and in 2019 returned to high grade spodumene mining as well. Add those up together + a world historical lithium boom... well you can see why MIN took an interest.

KOB has a big chunk of known pegs in the east (looks like a 5x5km area dense with outcrops). Tanco's lurk under the surface. Lithium confirmed to the SW.
