Really? Have you looked at Pogo? It is a deep, flat skinny deposit. No idea where you got 300 from??? To get to it you have to go +600 deep, then you start following it. And no, you can’t just haul to surface from wherever you are, you need a decline or shaft for that, and you don’t just develop those willy nilly. Northern Star is struggling with costs there for a reason; they have about an 8.2 gpt cutoff grade for a reason. This is why miners like vertical to sub-vertical deposits.
