In my personal opinion this is simply to lock land from competitors and prevent market share to any new incumbents.
The company is looking 3-5+ years ahead they know they will have every man and their dog around prospecting once they are producing.
Imo this is not about the ground lol - the results out of Bronze Whaler / Tiger / Manta are extremely high halloysite.. they know what's there already.
Smart move to block out other parties imo but this is not because of some major new discovery - they've already got them and can expand on them no problem...
