JM was talking about early strength long time ago, that seemed to fade away from the news.
Now the latest idea is rheology modifier with very little additional information provided and reasons for application not really given.
Greener concrete frequently mentioned here is a niche application with quite a range of existing solutions.

There are a couple of important points missing from the discussion.
Flowsheet for production of the HRM has not been presented in DFS (unless I'm blind, happy to be corrected). Particle size distribution data has been shown in DFS and it looks like a product slightly less refined than KCM with around 30% in +45 micron range and moisture content at the same level of around 10% (same as CRM and PRM)
To me it looks like a product produced in the same way as KCM and others which is screening, wet refining, filtering and drying. End product is dry filter cake in bulk bags.
Quick google of kaolin filter cake will provide anyone curious with visual images of how this looks, basically dry compacted lumps.
(Bonus points, my google results include Poochera Kaolin and link to Small Caps article from 2019 with photo of JM in China and news on signing non binding offtake agreements for 307,000 tons)'

Back to the topic.
How is that dry kaolin filter cake going to be actually used in concrete batching plants?
With discussed dose of 1-2kg per ton not only reasonable dosing accuracy would be needed but also a good dispersion over short time would be essential.
This means that the product would need to be further processed into fine powder and packed.
Actual application for niche use can be done by the way of soluble plastic bags with fixed weight per ton to be just added manually, hard to imagine tens of thousands tons to be used this way.

If this was going to be used more frequently storage and dosing systems would be needed at concrete batching plants (these are not cheap).
It has been a while but years ago when I worked for a company involved in concrete additives the company had to pay for supply, installation and maintenance of dosing systems in batching plants and it was not a simple or cheap exercise.

Anybody with an idea how the HRM from Poochera is going to get into concrete in Adelaide or Shanghai?

The best argument for why its already dead in the water ( for concrete ) is that i've seen no reason why it outcompetes regular materials already at the plant . There isnt much you can't achieve with the binder + scms + aggs + admixtures that are already at the plant and used daily, additionally its incredibly cheap. concrete is a solved problem its all about meeting the minimum performance critera for the minimal cost. the real money is made in cement production.
