I was wondering if it was possible to know the results early and here are my findings

This is the trial design

with folfiri you get maximum 12 treatment cycles, 6months.

so if a patient continues his treatment up to 8months then they can tell he was using HA. but wait, they have just reported that some patients have gone with more than 30cycles compared to 12cycles from folfiri.

As of jan 2013 they have recruited 390patients. sept would be the 8th month for the last recruited. they said primary endpoint would be reached if they get 350 patients that has disease progression.

This is probably why they are so confident in the results. What would be more interesting is how many people have gone with more than 30 cycles.
