It looks like that Anthony of Comprador, Hong Kong is able to convince noteholders to extend the deal to 31 March 2019. Since all parties still support the deal, let us wait and see.
3-month is not too long. To obtain the shareholders' approval for the ANS/WAPRC acquisition, SDL board needs to call Extra Ordinary Shareholders Meeting one month before 31 March 2019 and also FIRB approval. In this case, at least WAPRC should obtain China's NDRC approval in January 2019 or latest on 15 Feb 2019.
January month is critical for ANS/WAPRC if they would like to satisfy all the conditions in the acquisition agreement by 31 March 2019.
