Wanted to share this. I was grabbing a coffee earlier today and I noticed the merchant has a tyro terminal next to a lightspeed terminal. They used their tyro terminal to take the payment. I asked them what the story was and apparently they hate lightspeed, it's slow, isn't well integrated and is unreliable. The only issue they had with Tyro was during the outage a few years ago.
They dislike lightspeed a lot now, they only use it to make sure they've done the bare minumum number of transactions they have to do a day to avoid paying extra fees. They are so frustrated that they are looking at moving off Kounta at all their franchises.
