Started as a dividend investor. I still use this approach heavily in my super. It’s also a reason why I look at future cashflow potential of specs, as it gives a perspective for future share price potential. You need to make a lot of assumptions to fill in missing pieces. Helps when companies have a resource or exploration target. Also look at peer feasibility studies for insights.

Have a full-time job so active trading isn’t really practical for me.

For dividend stocks I just generally buy and hold dividend stocks that consistently grow earnings per share ( if EPS growth is better than inflation then you’re on a winner ).
