They are not new options. They are part of the 9 million plus options at 50c. Someone just exercised this parcel.

It looks like about 11.2 million options are 'in the money' so I would expect them to be exercised prior to the takeover going through, otherwise they will be lost (along with the profit that goes with them).

If you go back to the previous Appendix 3B announcement, you will see that the first parcel of options (Nov 2011) was about 9.7 million. Then this has reduced it down to ~9 million.
