So far as I know all the previous schemes, like the grapes, gone sour, withered on the vine, gone tits-up, backfired, bitten the dust, come apart at the seams, gone pear-shaped, run off the rails, sunk without trace.
I could go on, but it's not worthwhile. My prediction is that GCN will soon end with a whimper.
