Just had a flick through the Slater & Gordon results. Looks like their PI practice held up reasonably well, a decline in volumes was more than offset by an increase in fees per settlement. They also reported decent new case flows, with PI enquiries +16% and net matters +6%.
However they didn't have the strong growth in the other practice groups with class action fees being down 11%.
So looks like they outperformed Shine on PI but lost ground in the other areas. Note that Shine is now a lot more diversified than Slaters who are still 89% PI.
