I only just got round to reading a bit more about iCarasia, for which we have $2 million worth of shares in.
iCarasia's (http://icarasia.com) closing date for the IPO is today, and as per IPP's report aims to list on the ASX on Thursday 11th September this year. Ticker will be ICQ.
The offer price is $0.20 a share, so IPP would own 10 million shares in the company. This represents a little over 7% of ICQ. Will be interesting to watch the listing date.
Patrick Grove is the Chairman of ICQ. The proceeds of the funds raised by the IPO will be used to buy out shares in various car sales / enthusiast sites in Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia. $1 million of the funds raised will also go to IPP as part of the mobil123 website purchase.
So looks like IPP will soon have a sister company.
