You know what is actual madness, the large amount of shorting of this stock. WEB currently have over 3 years of cash burn sitting in cash, therefore if the economy doesnt open up to international for 2 years they shouldnt have to raise. which means eventually, the short positions will have to be closed. hence upside. but yes in the short term there will be some pain. Risky short to rely on that though imo.
Investing is a long term game and hence you shouldnt be so worried about the short term.
Management are great in this company, they have vision, that's what you're paying the current premium for. I personally averaged down during the cheap prices back early to mid last year and happy to sit and wait for covid to play out for this stock to be at the front of the market again, with small to mid competition gone/reduced (STA travel for example).
Scott, the fact that you have a different opinion is fine with me, that's what makes a market.
