    Well if we go by what AXE has consistently said.

    They don't want to produce a custom quantum chip. They want to make a chip that integrates in mobile devices.
    They have hinted at smartphone integration as per that re tweet.

    Based on the above, I would look at the unit prices of 5G chips, NFC chips etc which go into every phone. Google has found me prices for 5G phone chips to be from $20- $85. I guess that gives us some idea. But how much does a 12CQ cost to make? Hopefully that's what they're also working to keep under control.

    The commercial route does look enticing to us with the huge addressable market, if they succeed in making a cost-effective chip. Else there's always defence applications which have big budgets that can take the tech and refine it further. Or they could sell the IP and design to another large semiconductor company, but many are of the opinion that will never happen.
