I think by now, most SH know how shifty Chris is. He still won't give reasons as to Jack and Peta's departure.

Where are the new clients?  What are the FDA hurdles?  How have u cut costs?  Do u have 2 balls or 1.

I don't even think he is interested in the commercial side, he just wants to go back into research so he can collect an easy pay cheque with no expectation.

Peta developed the product and stirred up all the corporate interest. They were all her clients. She will bring them back and many more.
