When new info appears to be genuine, I prefer to suspend belief until I can process it in the greater sphere/context and read the analyses of others such as yourself.

I've often found clinging to a belief causes me to make errors of judgement.

Your arguments and analysis is more erudite and astute than mine, so I'll read you and others avidly, hungrily to help me form my opinion.

As for AUSTRAC, they're not the issue for me until I see that they're involved in conducting an investigation. my point is exclusively directed to ASX argument re non-disclosure on this key issue..... and I post it up to attract attention to the point to see if others either share my concern or can debunk the matter.
