Its not carried forward losses im using it’s the first $18.2k ($36.4K with 50% discount) of tax free threshold I am entitled too as I had no other income in 21/22.

The ruling talks about ASX closing price on the day so I just need to check exactly when I accepted the offer but pretty sure it was pre 07/02.

With regard to the resetting of CGT clock I’ve got plenty of parcels over 12 months old and would only be looking to apply this to a few (another question I need to determine can rollover relief be applied to some parcels and not others???)

I hear what you are saying about the risk of a T/O in 10 months but I’m comfortable to take a guaranteed benefit now against the risk of what IMO is a low probability risk at a later date.
