With Klaus busy with AVZ, it's not surprising that he is stepping away from one of his more "advanced" projects. I believe he is still a major shareholders of Amani Gold Ltd (55.25% of Giro project) and Amani Consulting (9.75% Giro project), so will still be a considerable force within the project.

The issue I have with non-australian run ASX companies is that I question thier dedication to shareholders. For example, even if the best way to realise value at Giro is to sell to Randgold at multiples of the current share price in a years time, I can't see that happening now. They also don't have a great track record on the ASX. Perhaps someone could give me and example of a frugally operated, Chinese-run ASX gold company that has produced real returns to existing shareholders in the past?? Focus minerals (sarc.)....
