looking at the well trajectories overlain on the seismic section, A-3 intersects Unit 3 fairly down dip, increasing the chance you're under water contact. A-2 intersects Unit 3 substantially updip, increasing the chance of being above water contact and increasing the chance of encountering larger net pay, and subsequently achieving a larger recoverable.
