I was watching the RIU in Fremantle a week or two ago and came across this company called WAK. They are in Wickepin WA. and have one of the biggest Kaolin deposits in the world.......
Look don't ask me the differences in clay cause I have no idea. But what I did find interesting was how long he said it took for them to get each customer.
He said each customer was like a trophy because he said it took about 2 years for each one to come on board.
He said he had never thought that it would take so long for each client and it surprised him.
It seems to me that this is the nature of this market that ADN finds itself in.
He was saying that they are now up to about 6 containers a day going out. I can't remember where he said he sent them to for export. Either Bunbury or maybe Fremantle in Perth. I am not sure Bunbury has container services. That is 210km and I think it is 220km to Fremantle. I suppose that is not a big difference in distance.
Anyway if anyone wants to have a look at his speech.......maybe not the most polished speech but at 75 years old who cares and nor does he.
