"With the Egyptian political climate stabilising and business environment improving the Company transported further machinery from Walkamin to the Papyrus Egypt, Sohag factory in Egypt to enable the Papyrus Egypt banana fibre project to commence once the factory is commissioned and all the requisite capital funding is secured for the project"
(Ho hum- we knew (well we think we knew) that commissioning was ready to happen in November- so NOTHING NEW here!)
"The machinery has been under the control of our agent in Sohag until such time as appropriate payment is made by Egyptian Banana Fibre company to the Company to satisfy the purchase obligations for the machinery" (BUT HANG ON--- the only way financing for the machinery can occur is when commissioning occurs-so how can the machinery be released when finance approval depends on commissioning of the said machinery)

"Our Egyptian partner has completed the construction and fit out of the factory building in Sohag which is ready to house the manufacture and production facilities comprising the production line of Papyrus machinery and equipment. Our Managing Director, Ramy Azer, is presently in Sohag undertaking the engineering work required to enable the manufacturing and banana fibre production facilities to be commissioned." (How long does commissioning pre-prep require????)

If anyone from PPY reads these posts (perhaps they don't want to know!) I have a few questions:
* There was supposed to be one or more new machines manufactured in Asia, a couple of years ago- is the Sohag machine one of these new machines, or just the Walkamin "Beta" machine transferred to Egypt.
*Can PPY make an ASX announcement including a photo of the Sohag factory and a photo of the said machine.
* Can PPY provide any indication of what "product" will be produced at Sohag and where the market is?
