He'd be taking a big risk if he knew those details. Even if the market is anticipating deals it might react positively or negatively to the price and the details if they vary a lot from consensus (I doubt there would be a consensus). Either way it would be a bad look. They would want to be seen to be doing the right thing rather than just doing the right thing I think. I wouldn't mind being wrong though.
