Not too sure who exactly the "detractors", to whom you cryptically refer, are.
But if you think that:
1. SI taking up far less than his full entitlements, and
2. not a single other director taking up any or buying any stock on-market (not even by way of a token gesture), just days before a period of negotiation exclusivity with the one named prospective partner, is due to expire...
.... is something about which to get excited, then maybe your excitement threshold is set a touch too low.
As for "this step at this point in time setting the rudder fairly and squarely in the straight ahead position", can you explain why two quarters' worth of capital being raised this time is any different to the similar little dollops of capital of this magnitude that have been raised on the past several occasions (including the 2 additional occasions in the current calendar year alone)?
