Never a great look, and the "tax liabilities" line always puzzles me.
Many of these type of shares are purchased/gained at a very low price. Selling them triggers a large CGT gain. Therefore increasing said "tax liabilities".
Not sure of personal situation though, so cant be too critical. But surely she can borrow against holdings to pay off any short term debts due?!
