As a former asx director i can confirm that if any information not known to the market is available to the director then you cannot buy.
generally there are significant black out periods prior to agm, results, cash flow reports or commercial outcomes etc
that would indicate theres no date for a mc but perhaps a director may still trade on the basis it was announced q3 and thats still the case
anyway, it won't be super close as its just too dangerous with asic on your case
