Do you need to have suffered a substantial loss to be part of an action? What about if you had kept your shares (as with KCN) and the manipulation had simply prevented a substantial gain? I know there would be considerable difficulty in establishing what the missed gain might have been, but maybe that could be established by comparison with similar companies that had not been subjected to the manipulation.

What if an action was simply directed at identifying the companies who are behind the manipulation and/or the brokers that are facilitating it? Wouldn't it be great to see some people do jail time over this? I know the evidence of KCN manipulation is already there, so the next step is identifying who is behind it. I guess we just have to watch this space.

One successful action will fundamentally change things for the better on the ASX.
