All the locals are saying at the moment is no jobs in the near future. Yes ADN are taking resumes at their Adelaide head office, but have done so for quite some time.

This is a sleepy backwater part of the country and very light on with the transport side. Its not as if Kenworths are parked side by side waiting for work.

No major transport players in the area. No jobs scuttlebutt for ancillary services such as truck drivers etc.

Our guy said it sounded like a fizza.

No one knows anything about road upgrades and acknowledge this tender alone takes a long time to arrange.

No accommodation in the area. Visiting doctor and health services. Nothing geared up atm for a mining population.

In the pub it was said the conversations revolved around fishing, caravans, council putting up rates and at that time the Oyster festival. Nothing about employment opportunities, mines or the like.

This is a sleepy beautiful spot of the world with a sparse population.
