This is a good long term punt for the patient  investor. reminds me of the early years of cochlear first step.

Cochlear Limited (Cochlear) today announced that it had acquired core
technology in the form of patents and know-how from the receiver in
the insolvency proceedings of Implex AG Hearing Technology for
approximately A$4.3 million.

Cochlear CEO and President Mr Jack O'Mahony said, "The addition of
these patents will strengthen our existing portfolio of intellectual
property in the implantable hearing device field."

The patents and know-how will be used in current and future R & D
activities and projects undertaken in Australia. The purchase will be
funded by existing cashflows.
