Understanding your need to raise capital in the interests of all shareholders, I believe you have shunned (even penalised) loyal retail holders for the easy option of a Sec708 placement.
At a minimum, the BOD should have offered a SPP or ideally a non-renounceable rights issue (with loyalty options) and cornerstone investors could have underwritten/mopped up any shortfall.
Certainly, the discount was necessary and a rights issue would have taken longer, potentially dragging out price weakness; but it would have been equitable to all holders.
Perhaps, when you see 15-20% of your register vote against Tranche 2, you might reflect and consider more equitable methods in future?"
