But this isn't "truth", it's opinion. Believing something and it being "truth" are very different. Why do you presume that them going it alone was a reason to sell? Perhaps he had a vision of something bigger than just hitching a ride with one of the existing players. In case my point isn't clear, I'm hypothesising and do not claim to know the truth or facts.

And Lexcorp implied (again, not truth) that the watch failed to read blood pressure which is why they didn't bother to get FDA clearance, yet from memory they actually said they didn't need FDA clearance because the watch is essentially not offering medical advice, i.e. every similar product on the market. The band is from what I understand going to offer information on more than just an "entertainment only" aspect, hence the need for FDA clearance. Nobody on here knows the truth. We all believe what we choose to believe with the information available to us. Anyone who claims to know either way is speculating, and the strength of that speculation is determined by how they back up their case e.g. someone actually went to the company and asked them and provided the answer back.

I find that Hotcopper members who don't like a company rarely provide information to back up their claims. In saying that I have seen some robust discussions with both the positive and negative camp members respectfully discussing their opposing views.
