Actually, Chinese brands have been doing quite well. My understanding is the watch is more about feeding data to improve the algo's.
Could you share some details of the blood pressure watch you're referring to from Fitbit?
I did a quick dig, all I saw was that some watches do an ECG test which my understanding was that it is just reading the electrical signals from the wrist, and Omron which requires the inflatable cuff. No real competition that I know of.
