Not when it is to boost Net Profit because they are not going to achieve their forecast and for big bonuses to management... at shareholders expense.
A property development company can hold and retain the shopping centre and continue to derive income on a yearly basis. I thought that would suit their famous saying...
' diversified by geography,
product type & price point, so that it
continues to hold broad customer
appeal & performs well in a range of
market conditions'
Why sell if they can continue to retain and obtain income.
This is the only retail asset they have on their books... why would they sell it - when they are trying to achieve a 'diversified product type' and 'performs well in a range of market conditions'
Retail assets will out perform residential in the short term. Why sell the best asset on their books???? BEACUASE THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ACHIEVE NET PROFITS UNLESS THEY SELL!!!
Simple really. This company is all smoke and mirrors.
No wonder why it isnt in ASX200.... only a market cap of $340M.... a very small time player in property development. I feel for the shareholders.
A little sugar hit by selling a shopping centre then back to the bad news.....
This company wont be in ASX200 ever again... it is being run to ruins.
