He already converted 12 million options using the sale of shares to do so, any further options needed to be converted he will do the same thing again, not costing him a cent as all options are freebies as such, not a bad gig if you can get it, but some companies the BOD issues countless amounts of bonus and performance shares on a yearly basis, they are the ones to steer clear of.
