Hey ChillingOut - my understanding is that the AU entity will just remain a shell company who's main purpose is seeing out the court case with asx. One day it may get big lick of cash ($464m), but it can just sit there. All the revenue generating activities will tfer to the new co.

The ratio of shares conversion in the new entity is completely irrelevant. At the moment you own a percentage of the AU entity. You will own this exact same % of the new entity. They could've gone the other way and issued you 10 billion shares in new entity - again, no difference really.
