There is information on Phase 2, some of it public.

The Phase 2 study is to be conducted in a number of sites including Guy's and St Thomas's in London (where Phase 1 was concluded). Phase 2 comprises two parallel arms, both of which will start immediately. The first of these is DEP Docetaxel alone and comprises two stages:

Stage 1 will involve approximately 20 patients with lung or prostrate cancer, this will be followed by a second stage, also consisting of about 20 patients and be based on the tumour types and results in the first stage. So approximately 40 patients overall with the second stage zeroing in on tumour types within either lung or prostrate cancer.

Separately and in parallel will be a single stage lung cancer trial involving DEP Docetaxel in combination with nintedanib.

So a total enrolment of about 52 patients in two parallel streams.

The budget for the Phase 2 trial, as reported at the last AGM was $6M.

Obviously the duration of the trial will depend on recruitment and in the second stage of the first arm the recruitment of patients with specific tumour types. One might reasonably surmise that the second arm lung cancer trial in combination with nintedanib will finish before the two stage docetaxel alone trial.

Whether SPL provides the results of the second arm first is not known, but I personally cannot see why not, as the two do not seem dependent on each other.
