The moment this ceased being a great opportunity is when they got greedy and tried to do it all themselves. They should have been satisfied with leasing/selling the IP and moving on to the next thing.
FBR should have remained a robotics company rather than try to be a construction company. They need to pivot back this way if they want to survive.
