Reminds me Theranous. Raised massive interest and investment on the back of a industry disrupting technology, but in reality it was a good concept that they couldn’t figure out to work in practice. So they faked it till they could make it. Time ran out and they got exposed, the machine was not viable, burnt 100s of millions of investors money.
IMO FBR story is headed towards similar ending. Brilliant concept, but just couldn’t make it viable. They tried to stall numerous times with endless excuses. But now time has run out, interest in it has dried up. Pivacs were out of their depth. They did well selling the dream earlier on, but when it came down to closing deals and making things happen in the real world, they couldn’t deliver.
