I’m cautiously optimistic that this could be a start of change. It’s an addition without any retirement. It would beggar belief if it’s a friendly appointment for someone to support existing B&M and take more money for nothing. Maybe the penny finally dropped with the Chair and he might feel a little tired of supporting current ‘success’? Mere speculation but CEO could step down from board and concentrate on being full time independent CEO, Chair might move on (please!!), management completely overhauled and new CEO and strategy announced. I’m still sell sentiment unless this stimulates more changes in the next 2-3 months. GLTA either way
