Re gold standard
We.... the world currently have ~ US$.... 303Trillion debt...... $303,000,000,000,000.
Below is a graph of all known above ground mined and below ground proven gold reserves.
With ~ US$18T in value @ less than US$2K an oz.
A simple mathematical equation.... for some.... but somewhere ~ 17 times the current POG for gold to match fiat currency.
US$2200 oz gold x 17.... ~ US$40,000 per oz..... is that laughter I hear?
There are many reasons for gold to rise.... and certainly not suggesting that figure..... just saying if a gold standard were to be introduced it would have to have some bearing with known gold quantity and fiat currencies.
I am very bullish gold and believe DRE's upcoming drilling might have the answer to our woes.
Long term gold looks like staying well above US$2k oz
It's a very interesting time to be investing and there has never been a better time to be searching for gold.
