That's pretty crazy, it's hard to imagine why they would only allow shorting on SEA. Shorting really has been the bane of SEA for most of this year, they pushed the price down and remained in firm control and have only just in the last week or so finally lost that control... hopefully. If oil breaks out which could literally happen any second now we'll really see the shorters running for the hills. Nice to see the shorts drop (pun not intended but feel free to enjoy), thanks for posting the graphic display. Unlike almost any other time this year, right now it's actually nice to see that there are still a reasonable number of short positions still open... although no doubt many of them were bailing out Friday and Monday and so the current figure will be lower than shown in your chart.
