Great thing about PAA is that the next trial prior to commercialisation is very short, relatively speaking. We know that most Phase 2 and 3 trials take years (and years). However, if approved by the FDA, for PAA's upcoming Phase 2/3 trial, we are looking at 48 weeks only or even just 24 weeks depending on how effective the treatment is. That to me is incredible speed for anything in biotech. What's more, we have 12 patients who are currently doing well enough to continue treatment - astonishingly that is 100% of patients experiencing meaningful measures of success that they want to continue taking MPL. That to me speaks volumes when it is a condition that is so degenerative and debilitating over such a short period of time till you are at death's door. These patients could say they are not going to take their chances, and move to a treatment that is approved, proven to some extent and readily available. But not one patient has chosen to do so presumably because they are experiencing tangible benefits which they consider to be superior to SOC, and in fact, one or more have become shareholders. That bodes well, not only for Phase 1 top line results expected by month end but for ODD soon after, further FDA approval for what could be a short, single and final study before sales can commence. Anyway I am preaching to the choir here but, as things stand, we are not only well placed at the moment, but ultimate success resulting in value multiples from where PAA is today could be something we are not going to have to wait too long for if things continue as hoped for. Make no mistake, the biotech world will be watching in earnest.

Could it possibly be (Please God) that the simple molecule Monepantel (MPL) is not only slowing the progression but like Dr Richard Mollard suggested “ the more MPL, the better the result”. So could it be…….patients on trial…..actually start to slowly recover”……..oh, that would be NICE!!
