PNG is a failed state. I would not be surprised if they could not do anything about it.
The Modern Slavery legislation indicates Australian Border Force has jurisdiction if Australian companies like SBm are running roughshod and not applying due care.
Val Madsen, Sarah Standish, Craig Jetson, Garth Campbell-Cowan have responsibilities in their operations whether be in Australia or former territories like New Guinea which were offloaded by Queensland to self government which of course appears to be not working at all.
PNG is a failed state. I would not be surprised if they could...
